What custom software costs at PSOI Tech
Every range below is published with the example scope that sits at each end, so you can place your own project inside it rather than guess. Final scope, price and timeline are confirmed in writing before work begins.
Operational software, automation and support
These are the engagements that build and keep running the systems your operations depend on. If you are still working out which side of the buy-or-build line you sit on, the SME buyer’s guide covers that first, and the case studies show what these ranges have actually produced.
| Service | Lower end of the range | Upper end of the range | Published range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Business App / MVPApproximately 2–4 weeks | One workflow, one user role, standard integrations | Several user roles, payments or bespoke integrations | S$2,700–S$24,000Get a quote for Business App / MVP |
| AI & Workflow AutomationApproximately 2–6 weeks | A single-workflow pilot across one or two systems | A multi-system programme with formal evaluation and audit requirements | S$6,500–S$40,000Get a quote for AI & Workflow Automation |
| Planning & Scoping | A single product or workflow | A multi-system brief with several integration boundaries | S$950–S$2,500Get a quote for Planning & Scoping |
| Ongoing Support & Maintenance | Monitoring, patching and a small release allowance | Larger capacity, faster response expectations and several systems | S$600–S$5,000 per monthGet a quote for Ongoing Support & Maintenance |
How the final price is confirmed
Published figures are typical ranges; each card explains what moves a project between the ends of its range. Your quote depends on agreed scope, delivery risk, data needs and integrations, and the final price, payment schedule, inclusions and exclusions are confirmed in writing before work starts.
If you are weighing a government support scheme against these figures, note that PSG, EDG and MRA are being merged into a single grant called EDGE, and its support percentages have not been published — so no one can yet say what proportion of a build it would cover. The EDGE grant tracker records what has and has not been announced.
Separately: the S$450 launch page
The Launch Page is a narrowly scoped website product, not an entry point into the custom software and automation work above. It buys one defined page or campaign flow, built from content and assets you have already approved and deployed to an agreed environment.
It is priced and delivered as its own product. It is not a representative price for internal tools, workflow automation or a customer portal — those start in the ranges in the table above.

The real cost of manual work
What is manual admin actually costing you?
Move the sliders to see what repetitive admin costs your business in a year.
Arithmetic only: people × hours × hourly cost × 46 working weeks, then the share you selected. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere.

Indicative paybackIf that time were recovered, the AI & Workflow Automation engagement (S$6,500–S$40,000) would be covered in about 4–22 months of recovered value.
A planning aid, not a quote, forecast or guarantee of savings. Real recovery depends on the workflow, data quality, integration access and how much human review is required. Scope, price and expected outcomes are confirmed in writing before work starts.
Commercial questions
01Who owns the code?
You do, once agreed fees are paid: the project-specific code named in the contract. Pre-existing tools, open-source software, hosted platforms and third-party services keep their own licence terms, and the agreement lists any exceptions before work begins.
02How are changes to scope handled?
The agreed scope and acceptance criteria are the baseline. A new request is either swapped for work of similar effort, moved to a later release, or written up as a change with any fee and timeline adjustment approved before it is built.
03How does payment work?
The proposal sets out the fee, the payment milestones and any third-party costs. Builds normally need an initial payment before capacity is reserved, with later payments tied to agreed stages.
04What happens if you are unavailable?
Every build is handed over as something another engineer can pick up: repository access, credentials, deployment, written documentation and a walkthrough. The project-specific code named in the contract is yours once agreed fees are paid, and ongoing support is a separate agreement rather than a dependency. Nothing built here needs PSOI Tech to keep running for you to keep using it.
05Do you provide maintenance?
Yes — monitoring, maintenance, reporting and a defined allowance for small releases. Coverage, response expectations, exclusions and monthly capacity are written down, so it stays a service rather than an open-ended retainer.
06Are third-party hosting and API costs included?
Not unless the proposal says so. Hosting, domains, model usage, email, payments and other third-party services are paid by you directly or recharged at cost. Expected services are identified during scoping, though provider pricing can change independently.
